Strawflower “Bright Rose” (Helichrysum bracteatum)
These bright rose blooms are endlessly useful! Every year, I grow more and more of them… and I still run out, because I love to use them in every bouquet. The unique papery blooms last for weeks in fresh bouquets or they can be dried. Strawflowers are at their best in late summer/early fall and they make a wonderful addition to bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and flower crowns.
