Bridal Bouquet Workshop

You're engaged (congratulations, by the way!), and you're already fantasizing about your perfect bouquet. You’ve even started Googling "Can I make my own bridal bouquet?"

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Also yes… but girl, trust me on this one. You're going to want some help.

DIY wedding flowers sounds dreamy…. until you're standing in your kitchen the night before the wedding, surrounded by wilting flowers, frantically watching YouTube tutorials at midnight, wondering why your bouquet looks like one of those comical “Pinterest Fail” memes. We're not letting that happen to you.

Whether you're a bride-to-be who wants to carry something crafted with her own hands, a bridesmaid who volunteered to "handle the flowers" (bold move, friend), or someone who simply loves learning a beautiful new skill… this class is for you.

I'm so excited to introduce you to Sarah Hart. She's a talented floral designer based in Grand Rapids, MI, with a decade of experience crafting stunning wedding florals, and she has agreed to share her expertise right here at Three Acre Farm.

We’ll start the magical evening with a short meet-and-greet, followed by a stroll through Three Acre Farm to explore what’s in bloom.

Then Sarah will walk you through creating a gorgeous, lush hand-tied bridal bouquet using the organic spiral method, crafted from farm-fresh blooms harvested right here on the farm. Peonies will be the star of the show, along with a supporting cast of spring blooms, like Veronica, Spirea, Feverfew, Yarrow, Snapdragons, and more.

Here's what you'll learn:

  • How to build a lush, professional-looking bridal bouquet using the organic spiral technique

  • How to select the right seasonal flowers for the look and mood you're going for

  • How to process and condition flowers so they stay beautiful on the big day!

You’ll walk away from this workshop feeling confident, accomplished, and inspired.

This workshop is intentionally designed to be small and personal, so every student can get the hands-on instruction and attention they deserve to learn the foundational skills for creating stunning bridal bouquets (the same techniques can also be used for bridesmaids’ bouquets!).

Each student will leave with a stunning hand-tied bridal bouquet, a belly full of delicious snacks, and new flower friends. Psst… flower people are the best.

We can’t wait to see you at the Bridal Bouquet Workshop!

☆ Our 2026 CLASS DATE ☆

Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm

Bridal Bouquet Workshop
$215.00

Join us on the farm to learn how to create a stunning hand-tied bridal bouquet using farm-fresh blooms, guided by an experienced wedding florist.

Details:

  • Tickets are $215 per person. Flowers, a farm tour, and delightful refreshments are included.

  • Choose appropriate footwear/clothing. This is a working farm, with farm animals, and I can almost guarantee you WILL get chicken poop on your shoes. Rubber boots are a great option. ;)

  • Mobility considerations. Since this is a working production farm (not a botanical garden or park with paved pathways), the terrain is varied and uneven. There are potential tripping hazards, and not all areas can be easily accessed by persons with limited mobility. This class is not recommended for individuals who cannot walk/stand for 1-2 hours (seating is provided for the bouquet creation demonstration portion of the workshop).

  • Tickets are not refundable, but they are transferable. If you can’t make it, please find someone else to take your place… or consider your ticket price as a donation to our farm.

  • In case of severe weather, events may be canceled or rescheduled. Participants will be notified via email ASAP. If the event cannot be rescheduled, we will offer refunds.

Registration for each class/tour/event will open up on the website about 30 days BEFORE the class/tour/event (email subscribers will be notified via email). We find that this shorter time window allows people to have a better idea of their schedule and commitments.
