“Prince Noir” is EXTREMELY RARE and difficult to source. I’m thrilled to offer these tubers this year in hopes we can make “Prince Noir” more accessible to growers in the future. I’d love to have you help me preserve this amazing Dahlia! If you enjoy growing and preserving rare breeds, this Dahlia is for you.

Handsome “Prince Noir” might have the most breathtakingly beautiful wine-colored blooms I’ve ever seen! The ruffled, frilly petals look delicate but are surprisingly tough. Sometimes, a few blooms appear white with burgundy centers. A pure delight!

We prefer to grow “Prince Noir” as a Garden Dahlia to enjoy the blooms in the garden. However, the blooms are perfectly sized for bouquets and arrangements, and I can’t resist cutting them!

Note: Tubers are consistently small (pinky-sized), yet store well over the winter. We recommend storing the tubers in vermiculite.

Bloom Size: 4”

Plant Size: 3’

Type: Semi-Cactus

Growing Category: Garden Dahlia
