Nonette
Nonette is the most photogenic Dahlia on the farm. Her variegated blooms are never the same. My husband is obsessed with Dahlia and lovingly refers to her as “My girl, Nonette”.
Due to her unique genetic makeup, she occasionally reverts back to all red blooms, while the other blooms are pale orange with red streaks.
Her growth habit is a bit unusual (short and squat), which makes cutting a bit tricky, but still possible. She is stunning in the garden, where her blooms can be enjoyed by passersby (but I still love to cut the blooms to enjoy indoors!).
