On-Farm Classes and Workshops

Cut and Condition Class - Monday, September 9 at 6:30

Wondering how and where and when to cut your flowers?

Wondering how to make your cut flowers last as long as possible?

Join me as we walk through the U-Pick Flower Garden, cutting flowers as we go and discussing the secrets and “tricks of the trade” to make each flower variety look their best and last as long as possible!

Each participant will have the opportunity to cut their own bouquet, and will go home with a helpful “Conditioning Guide”.

  • Class is held rain or shine. Dress appropriately. We will cancel only in cases of severe inclement weather (lightening, tornadoes, etc.)

  • Choose appropriate footwear. This is a working farm, with farm animals and I can almost guarantee you WILL get chicken poop on your shoes. Rubber boots are a great option. ;)

  • Sorry, no refund or returns. If you can’t make it, please find someone else to take your place… or consider your ticket price as a donation to our farm. ;)

  • Class will conclude with light refreshments.

In this hands-on class you will learn:
